“ I’ve been coming here since they opened. I have never been happier with a pizza parlor. It’s truly next level! Drunken Tor. I've had the Drunken Tor, Pepperoni, Burrata, Clam Pie, the Burger Pie, and the Cheesesteak. The owner, Dave, is not only an incredibly nice guy, he knows how to make excellent pizza. His Vodka sauce is absolutely amazing. There's something special about it that stands out against others l've had. On the Drunken Tor, it plays perfectly with the stracciatella, mozzarella blend, and pepperoni. The French Onion pie is incredible. It’s hard to stop myself from eating the whole thing. And then there's the crust... yeah, Dave's doing real work here. This isn't a throwaway platform. It's fermented, crisp, and built to hold weight without getting soggy or chewy. Think Detroit edge crisp meets East Coast chew. The bake is spot on, and the crunch is ideal. Easily my favorite in the NYC/NJ area. ”

Today I walked in by chance and the girls were able to accommodate my order! The dough was so good the flavor of the marinara and I just really enjoyed my pizza. “ This place had been showing up on my social media feed constantly as one of the best pizzerias in the area. The pizzas looked amazing so I finally decided to try it. In short, would definitely go back. Starting with the food, you can only order pies, which, on some level, I kind of love. The pizza you eat will undoubtedly be fresh out of the oven. It's always a win. We ordered a pie, half pepperoni/half plain. It was as I saw it online. The char, the bubbles, and the undercarriage were all top-notch and looked incredible. And of course, it tasted sublime. The cheese was so good, just the right amount of sweet and tangy tomato sauce, and the crust was crunchy on the outside and airy on the inside. The service was pleasant. I wasn't there long, but they were nice. They had a smile when we walked in, quickly grabbed our pie, and we were out in 30 seconds. The atmosphere and design of the place are obviously part of the appeal. It's based on a 1970s living room with the furniture and TV to match. When we arrived, there were three older gentlemen having wine and eating pizza. Few scenes get more NJ than that. ”
“ I just had a 500 star pepperoni square pizza. Like a freshly made arrabiata sauce as a base. Amazingly good mountains of pepperoni on top. Tasty dough. Quality olive oil. Run there to get some before it’s gone. So goood! ”
“ Try this place out and Ordered a drunken tor and arancini. I wasn’t disappointed one bit. The pizza had a crispy under carriage and crust. Perfect amount of ingredients and a nice kick with the hot honey. The rice balls were crispy outside and inside was perfectly filled and the cheese pull on the mozzarella and covered in creamy vodka sauce. Worth the higher price tag. ”
“ This place is amazing. The pizza is maybe the best I’ve ever tried in Jersey, besides Santillos. Definitely the best in Bergen County, although places like Kinchleys and Lidos and others are phenomenal as well. Ingredients are amazingly fresh, crust is loaded with flavor and crunch, cooked to perfection. If you are a Man/Woman of the Pizza, this is an absolute must try. ”
“ 10/10 The location: Perfect to grab a pie and sit at the park to enjoy it or, while your pizza/food is being prepared the location itself is simple with the very old school Jersey Decor. Has a nice little arcade machine which I was playing for a bit while waiting with my wife. Cool phone booth and old school cigarette machine that works it seems. The music was great, and I felt like I was in a Goodfellas movie. Couple of couches and sofa chairs to sit in, which looked comfortable. Plain, simple and to the point. The preparation: The oven there is really cool. Never seen anything like it, didn’t really notice it in other pizza places, but it’s a stacked oven which gives you the most amazing under carriage on the crust. As Portnoy says ZERO FLOP. The Pizza itself: DELICIOUS. I ordered here because one of my soccer parents had placed an order for her son’s, one of my players, birthday party and I was hooked. Finally decided to order it on a lazy Sunday and it was awesome. We ordered 1 Round Vodka Stracciatella and 1 Casano's Round. What I absolutely love is their use of basil on the pizza. Just takes the taste to another level. And their sauce is chefs kiss . Owner and workers very respectful and work diligently. I’m all about quality and the fact that they’ve mastered 8 pizzas is definitely a plus. Order quick because they run out fairly quickly as well. If I were the owner stick to your current model and only allow placing orders online. Less stress juggling multiple orders with a phone line and staying focused on the online orders really is an interesting and working model you got going on there. New fav spot of mine which I will be ordering going forward. ”
